Loves; sunny days, dogs, cats, horses, chocolate, coffee, avocado and broccoli! Hates; alarm clocks, housework and cold Does; long walks along the Royal Canal with my little rescue dog, LouLou, voluntary work and occasional paid work. Best stress buster; a sunny hack along a country road preferably while having a good laugh with a friend or purring Poppy, my cat! Work; I've worked in Ireland, England, Italy and the ‘States. Mostly nowadays, I teach English as a Second Language to either adults or kids, individually or in groups. In the past I've been an editorial assistant at Horse and Hound, a freelance writer in Ireland and England, freelance editor in Ireland and way back I used to work as a production planner. Leisure; I've been a legger on a round the world yacht race, sailing from Cape Town to Boston, USA, that was a dream come true and an extremely memorable experience! Would love to be able to; paint but for some reason I have never followed that dream. Does too much of; watching soaps on tv and following social media. Oldest memory; walking up the road leading a thoroughbred mare when I was about two and thinking her hooves were huge. It was a sunny day!
